Back in 1986, the Malliaras family opened Basil’s chicken on the premise that people should be able to take their families out to eat a fresh, healthy meal, without preservatives, msg, or frying. We’ve kept our prices reasonable, and our restaurants clean and friendly. In fact, it’s a Malliaras family philosophy that has spread to four different Basil’s Chicken Restaurants, all run by our family.
Mom and Pop Malliaras began the business 25 years ago, and they’re still going strong. All the kids learned from our folks, taking in every aspect of the business and a strong sense of family pride in the process. We’re the first ones in at each location, starting the restaurant up and getting things going, because we know we can do it the right way and we accept nothing less. It’s the Malliaras family philosophy that an honest, healthy meal in a clean family atmosphere at a fair price will bring people coming back for more.

The chickens used at Basil’s come straight from the farm and are never frozen. All of our tasty bread is baked locally and brought fresh, every day, to Basil’s. All four restaurants have the same great menu and serve the same fresh fare. And Basil’s caters many parties, sports events, and even weddings.
